The Ticket Master ( by Eugene Montgomery & the Baggy Bottom Boys)

I went down to the depot just to watch the trains roll by
There was a long white train that really caught my eye
I looked to the north and I looked to the south
It stretched as far as the eye could see.
I knew I wanted to ride that train
Though I didn’t know it’s destiny.

As I got a little closer the conducter stepped down
He walked up and greeted me.
I said I feel drawn to ride this train
And I need some information please.
Like what time will this train be leaving, do I have to have a seat reserved, how do I get my ticket ,
and just where is it headed sir ?

(chorus)
He said go to the Ticket Master
He’s the keeper of the tickets sir
You must go through the Ticket Master
To get your seat reserved
He said go to the Ticket Master
He’ll take care of all your needs
And only the Ticket Master knows
What time your train will leave

So I went to the Ticket Master
To get a seat reserved for me
And when I saw the Ticket Master
I fell down on my knees.
Cause Jesus is the Ticket Master
And He was lookin straight at me.
He said this train is headed to heaven
And all you gotta do is believe.

I put my trust in Jesus and in Him I do believe
So when this train heads out to heaven
I got a seat reserved for me
So go to the Ticket Master
And fall on your knees and pray
And don’t wait to get your ticket
Cause your train may be leaving today !

(chorus)
Yes Jesus is the Ticket Master
He paid the price for you and me
To ride this tran to heaven all you gotta do is believe
Yes Jesus is the Ticket Master
He paid the price for you and me.
If you believe in the Ticket Master
Then for you the ticket is free

(repeat last chorus)
